ABOUT SICS
The Special Interest and Community Service Sodality (SICS) is one of the four CCA Constituent Bodies in SMUSA.
SICS represents 22 diverse interest groups and long-term community service groups in SMU. SICS has five clusters (Community Service Cluster, Lifestyle Cluster, Professional Development Cluster, Social Causes Cluster and Social Gaming Cluster) to suit different interests and enrich student life in SMU.
SIGNATURE EVENTS
SMOO Challenge Lite is an event that unites the entire SMU Community through improving their mental and physical wellness, with the aim of doing good for the community.
A signature event in May under SICS where we partner with Mountbatten Vocational School (MVS) to help youths with disabilities realize their value and importance in our society through a series of weekly outreach events, in hopes of creating a more inclusive society.
Held in February each year, SICS Day aims to showcase and spread awareness of our 22 unique clubs under SICS to the SMU student through various fun activities and rewards. SICS Day hopes to encourage the student body, especially freshmen, to sign up and participate in the clubs.

SICS FRESHMEN SUMMER PROGRAMME
SMU SICS Camp 2024: Intergalactica is a Freshmen Orientation Programme that seeks to welcome and introduce all freshmen to our 22 special interest and community service clubs. During this 2 day summer orientation programme, the freshmen will be able to immerse themselves into the exciting games and activities planned by our 22 clubs whilst forging friendships with other participants. As one of SICS' hallmark events, this is one that definitely should not be missed!
